Our Vision
To be the FREE festival in the Cotswold’s that inspires and involves young people, supports local talent, engages businesses and makes live performance accessible to all.
To establish the Phoenix Festival as a platform where artists and businesses can collaborate with young people and the local community and bring new audiences together to celebrate and enjoy the value of live performances.
Our Mission
Our Goals
To be organised by volunteers to help personal and professional development with support from industry professionals and local businesses. To build a self-sustaining music festival to showcase local talent and live performance. To attract audiences of all ages and from all communities.
We have had many supporters over the years that have helped us to grow the festival. We are so very grateful to you all and particularly for all of the grants and financial assistance awarded to us by the many bodies and individuals who have helped us – thank you!
Our Supporters
The Phoenix Festival first took to the stage in 2013, in the beautiful historic setting of The Abbey Grounds, in central Cirencester.
The Phoenix Festival continues to grow and evolve and is now attended regularly by around 15,000 people each year. It now boasts an extensive line-up on two main stages with over 40 acts, an ever popular performance arena, creative and wellbeing zone and is supplemented by good food, great drink and the exceptional vibe of the great people of Cirencester
The Phoenix Festival continues to develop with the great help and enthusiasm that our young volunteers bring with them to support the festival as they work alongside experts in the fields of event management, finance, engineering and other important roles. It is an all-inclusive event for all ages and all sectors of the society, using music to bring people together in a celebration of the strength of our Cotswold community.
The festival was initially the amazing creative idea of the Ozone Youth Partnership in Cirencester and is supported by Cirencester Town Council and Cirencester Community Development Trust and LOADS of volunteers! We still enjoy great support from the young people at Ozone and enjoy watching them develop their skills whilst working with us.
Cirencester’s award winning Phoenix Festival is a great example of community partnerships in action:
